The text is an excerpt from Kirli’s play, Yandha Djanbay and reads: ‘shiny wattle seeds pop from curling pods, and like them I think I’ll explode too. Empty myself onto the earth and decay until I sprout. Mycelium to grind me down to my becoming. I come undone on the sand. We all come undone.’
Medium: acrylic, ink, water colour and pastel.
